Biceps Dumbbell Curl

Biceps dumbbell curl is a great tennis fitness exercise for strengthening your biceps. The only thing you need is a pair of dumbbells. When playing tennis, it is important to strengthening your muscles to be able to play at your maximum effort during a whole match. I like to work with dumbbells because that means you will train your non dominant hand  up to the same level as your dominant hand. My tip is to always start with your weakest side because you can always do more reps on your strongest side, but as a tennis player you want to get the same size and strength on booth hands.

Biceps Curl – Resistance Band

Standing biceps curl with a resistance band is a powerful exercise for your biceps. I use this exercise for my younger kids so that they can learn the proper technique. For the fit tennis players, I tell them to use this exercise when they travel. You can start to use this exercise at the age of 8. Read more…
